The Adventures of Henry, Continued
Hi Ma, it’s me again. I’ve got to admit, I miss you and the gang sometimes and I’ll always remember how much you did for me. I love being with Grahame, don’t get me wrong… Now we’ve finally sorted out who’s boss!
You will probably be surprised to hear, I don’t eat all my food at once anymore. It did take a while to figure out, there is always more…
Although, I have to admit, sometimes Grahame and I have a very different idea of exactly when that should be. Words get said on both sides if you know what I mean. For instance, It’s breakfast time, or at least it was in my book and he’s still asleep…. The answer seemed to be an easy one…. I jumped on his chest. Ahh, I wasn’t expecting Grahame to jump out of bed that fast, thought someone had shot him or something. It wasn’t pretty with me sprawled out on the floor I can tell you. Then he goes on and on about it only being 4am! As if that means anything to me? All I knew was I was hungry but, all the arguments I made fell on deaf ears. Now, I sit on his chest looking down and use telepathy. You know, feed me, feed me until he does. This by the way was how I learned to leave a little in case a snack is needed.
Spent a day pretending I was a dog. Running around, wagging my tail, coming when I was called and licking, that type of thing. It was fun for the day, although I wouldn’t want to do it every day.
Like, I don’t understand the problem… I mean I’ve got to stop myself ending up an undignified mess of paws and tail on the floor, right?
Bye Ma, I’ll write again soon. Say hi to the gang for me.
